Welcome to the August Edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover comes to us this month from long time CT artist Brett Schmidt.

I think it's pretty cool, I hope that you do too.
What can you look forward to this month? Oh, a whole lot of things! Jamie Coville went to Comic Con International
and has a full blown report for you to peruse (coming tomorrow). AJ Reardon and Mat Bredfeldt went to the movies last month
and wrote reviews for Inception and Toy Story 3, respectively.
Heck, I went to see Despicable Me and after realizing that the last few movies I've seen have been animated
films, and noting how well animation is doing at the box office this summer, I decided to speculate on why that
is. You can read that in the review section entitled Tales from the Heart.
Jesse Willey loves to throw me curve balls and this month he certainly has. He has celebrated his 30th birthday
this month by writing a 17 page article of 30 item lists of comics, trades and movies
he's enjoyed. Read at your own risk! Plus we have lots, lots more. Take some time and look around! We know
you'll be glad that you did!
