Welcome to the June Edition of the Collector Times!
Surprise! We're going up early this month. Why? Because my youngest daughter (who is of the ripe old age of 24) wants to go to Disneyworld in Florida. Damned if I'm going to Florida during the hurricane season, so we're going now. If I want hurricanes, I can stay right here in coastal Texas and endure one. At least I'd get overtime for working because I'm on the hurricane ride out team. So yeah, we're running out on you Dear Readers, a little early. We'll do Disney and Universal Studios, go down to Key West, and end our trip on Sanibel Island. Hopefully we'll meet nothing worse than a terrible sunburn and/or a class one hurricane.

I want you all to think about this. All of the writers/artists you see here got their stuff in early,
write it down! This has got to be a sign of the apocalypse. I'm really grateful to them all, though.
You know who you are!
What have we this month for you? Lots of stuff! Surprised me! Jamie Coville provides us with an
interview with Tara Tallan, who did the comic Galaxion and is currently
doing it as a webcomic. Jamie also went to The Toronto Comics Arts Festival and gives us a great
con report. Ian Melton gives us a review of the cancelled
Shojo Beat in Elements of Manga. Of course, this month The League of Explorers
continues, written by Joe Singleton. You know the art for this chapter has to be stellar too, because
Joe drew his own characters. Plus, we have a lot, lot more.
So, pull up a seat, kick your shoes off, and start the northern hemisphere summer off right by taking some
time and looking around. I'm sure you'll be glad you did!
