Welcome to the Third Anniversary Issue of The Collector Times!
Three years, yes, thats right, three years since I bought The
Collector Times and I turned it into an online magazine. Many
changes have taken place in the interim. I suggest that you go
back into our archives and look at our early issues. Youll see
how much we have grown in the span of three years.

Our cover art is a special piece done by Brett Schmidt just for
our anniversary issue. Brett is one of my artists who has been
around since the beginning, and I thought it was appropriate that
he provide the cover for our anniversary. Brett has been
influenced a lot by nature recently, and it shows in his artwork.
Now, on to what you can expect in this issue. You must check
out our group report on AggieCon, its really pretty
amusing. We have lots of convention photos, too. We
have two special interviews this month in Covilles Clubhouse:
one with Stuart Immonen, and another with
Brian Stelfreeze. Also, be sure to check out our new artist
Sarah Skinner. Im sure you will agree that shes a great talent.
Scott Crawford helps us celebrate by contributing another
From Your Lord and Master columns. Johnny Gonzales is still
having personal time difficulties, but he assures me that Starr and
Rourke will return next month. Zack Roman explains The Lord
of the Rings Board Game for us in Console-tations, and
Jason Bourgeois actually likes something written by Scott
Lobdell.
A very special anniversary edition, indeed. There is so much
good stuff in this issue that I cannot list everything for you, so
youll just have to cruise around and look. And I assure you,
with all the dot.com crashes lately, that The Collector Times isnt
going to be one the casualties. Youll be able to enjoy our love
of comics, gaming, toys, science fiction, and pop culture with us
for a very long time.
We are always glad to have you with us!
